“Hello, I'm Sweta Kumar, a passionate user experience (UX) designer based in Simi Valley, California . Although my roots lie in India, I made the exciting move to the United States in 2012. After completing my post-graduation diploma in Business Management, I delved into the banking sector, leveraging my finance background to gain valuable experience. However, my career took a temporary pause as I devoted myself to raising my two wonderful children. During this transformative period, I honed essential skills in time management, organization, and communication.

During this time, I discovered my passion for art and decided to pursue a career in user experience design. To further expand my skills, I enrolled in a graphic design program at a college. It was during this period that I had the opportunity to volunteer for a food bank pantry project. Through this experience, I realized the immense need for assistance among individuals in our community.

Along this path, I have completed the Google UX Design Certificate, DesignLab UX Foundations course, and I am currently pursuing the DesignLab UX Academy Course. Equipped with a diverse skill set encompassing user experience design, interaction design, user research, collaboration, problem-solving, and organization, I am now eagerly preparing to re-enter the workforce. My aim is to utilize my skills, experiences, and creative energy to make a significant and meaningful contribution.

During my spare time, I enjoy doing painting, sketching, crafting and playing pickle ball, badminton and basketball with my daughter.
